  • Can I choose my own repair facility after an accident, or do I have to get my vehicle repaired at my insurance company's preferred shop?

    Here in Texas, you have the right to use the repair facility of your choice. By law, you may have your vehicle towed to and repaired at any repair facility that you choose and you are only required to have one estimate.

  • Who collects my deductible? The insurance company or the body shop?

    You will pay your deductible to Hillcountry Collision when you pick up your vehicle, after all repairs are complete.

  • How do I schedule an appointment for an estimate?

    No appointment is required! Walk-ins are welcome during our normal business hours Monday through Friday. After-hours and on weekends, appointments are necessary. We will always do our best to accommodate your schedule.

  • Do you provide a written guarantee?

    Yes, Hillcountry Collision provides a lifetime warranty on all work performed at our shop for as long as you own your vehicle.

  • Can I be required to take my vehicle to a drive-in facility for an estimate?

    No, as an insured driver, you have the right to take your vehicle to any shop you prefer for both your estimate and the repairs.

  • How soon are parts ordered for repairs?

    If you’re filing an insurance claim, we will begin the tear-down process after we receive approval from your insurance company. During tear-down, there may be an estimate supplement that requires approval. After receiving final approval, then all necessary parts are ordered.


    If this is a customer-pay job, the required parts are ordered as soon as you approve the estimate and drop your vehicle off with us for repairs.

  • Will I be notified throughout the repair process?

    Yes, Hillcountry Collision will provide you with frequent status updates. Feel free to contact the shop during the repair process if you have any questions or concerns.

  • How do I schedule my collision repair?

    Call Hillcountry Collision to schedule your repair, if we haven’t discussed drop-off details already during your estimate appointment.

  • Do you provide rental car assistance?

    Yes, our team will be happy to reserve a rental vehicle for you. It is part of our commitment to make the collision repair process as hassle-free as possible for our customers.

  • Do you provide help with the insurance process?

    Yes, we work with all reputable insurance companies to help process your claim. We do this every day and always remember that you, not the insurer, are our customer.
